ISB Mobile App Workshop – Hackathon

Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy together with Indian School of Business and Microsoft have initiated the ISB Mobile App Workshop. This event focuses on programmers and students enabling them to use their expertise and programming prowess to develop a working prototype and demonstrate a business case. Moreover, it is a perfect opportunity for budding entrepreneurs in mobile app space to explore industry ventures, mentorship and potential funding opportunities.

Programmers and students who are interested to take part in the event can enroll themselves. This program requires a commitment of two weekends. You can register for the event at the link provided below.

Here are some of the pre-requisites required for the Hackathon

1. 64-bit Windows 8 Pro edition or higher (You can’t develop WP 8 apps on Windows7)
2. Visual Studio 2012 (Express/Pro/higher edition) with Windows phone 8 SDK
3. Windows Phone 8 Emulator should be running. WP 8 Emulator requires 4 GB or more of RAM and Hyper V must be enabled and running
