TruePush – A free push notification product for mobile and web

Hyderabad based Startup, TruePush launched their free push notification service for mobile and web on Jan 9th, 2019 publicity and currently, their clients are sending 100Mn notifications every month, this happened in less than 100 days of their public launch.  They got their lift up from ProductHunt and BetaList kind of platforms after which they started growing by referrals and word of mouth.

Ravi and Manoj, are co-founders for Truepush.com, they met in SLP Hyderabad chapter, they had their own startups before starting with TruePush.

They say It is 17 times cheaper to engage and upsell your existing audience than to find a new one. Given push notifications have the highest conversion rate (up to 5-10X based on Industry than emails) the tools are priced equally costly. They came up with a business model where they can give the tool for free. This not only helped them scale fast because no price barrier but also helped a lot of start bloggers and business owners to get the tool at no cost translating it to give the highest ROI for the user.

They Initially piloted a known circle, made cold calls and cold emails to get product feedback. It was a struggling period doing outbound. But once ProductHunt launch picked up, where they got 300 signups in less than a day + a lot of positive feedback, they knew they were on to something big.
