So we teamed up with few other friends studying in Europe and US, to start this firm,” says Damini Mahajan, at the launch, when asked about the beginning of this enterprise.

As of today, this web portal has a huge listing of foreign universities and registered students, and a listing of about 2000 active scholarships from numerous reputed universities across the globe. The website also has internships information published, providing international experience to thousands of Indians, who are seeking out for such opportunities.

“In the last two years we have helped more than one lakh students and it’s all free,” says Ms. Mahajan. She also states that apart from guiding students directly, this portal also connects aspiring students with successful people, who have gone abroad through scholarships, for direct hands on experience sharing and guidance on different aspects relating to application process, writing SOPs, eligibility criteria’s etc.

“We also have more than 50 mentors who benefitted from the website and are willing to share their experiences.” Says the co-founder of WeMakeScholars.com.
