WORKRUIT - FINDING JOBS, ON THE GO!

Wouldn’t it be convenient if you could apply to a job, as easily as you would book a cab or order food from a favorite restaurant? Well, today it is.

With the new mobile app – Workruit, individuals can now apply for jobs on their phones, wherever they are. With instant matching based on skills and strengths and direct interaction with the company without any middle-men, Workruit makes job-search logical, simple and hassle-free.

The Challenge

Job-search is tedious. What makes it all the more disappointing is the fact that a lot of us never hear back from companies that seemingly have the perfect role for us. The existing process is not only time-consuming, but also falls short of making ‘relevant’ matches. It is highly dependent on the company noticing an exciting resume among a database of thousands of others that are grouped together. The filters give slightly more suitable results, but in the end, the matchmaking itself is heavily dependent on manual scrutiny.

When Manikanth Challa, Founder & CEO of Workruit set out to solve this challenge, he took the design route to a solution. Bringing his expertise as a product designer and UX specialist to the table, he conceptualized a platform that would replace the existing job-search process with something more straightforward, clutter-free and effective. The solution promises to show users relevant (and only relevant) job options to choose from, after a logically designed two-step process.

How it works

A simple sign-in involves using a verified user ID and updating qualifications, proficiencies, and preferences. After this, the app displays results of jobs best-suited to the user profile – matched through an intelligent algorithm.  Swipe right to apply if you like the displayed job, and left otherwise. If the company too shows interest in you – it’s a match! This process ensures that individuals and companies are matched basis competency requirements, as well as their mutual interest in each other. They do not have to sort through irrelevant or unsuitable jobs, even for a minute.

Some key features of the app include –

• Seamless and clutter-free design – Swipe right to like a job, left otherwise

• Intelligent two-level matching

• Verified profiles and secure interface

• Only relevant recommendations

• In-app messenger and direct communication

• Utmost data privacy

Easy, seamless and beneficial

Being available on a mobile platform makes recruitment as well as finding jobs, much easier. It is available on the go, ensuring that candidates can quickly apply to any job that they like by simply swiping right on the mobile app.

“The recruitment industry is the most crucial cog in the wheel of a company, as it defines the quality of the employees that work there. It is high-time that we use technology to advance the quality of our workforce, instead of sticking to age-old practices. We need a shift not just because technology is cooler, but because technology is genuinely the way-ahead,” says Manikanth.

Workruit believes that unsuitable job-matches are detrimental not just to careers, but also to companies that miss out on great candidates. People, who love their work, deliver great work. In an organization, a lot of time is spent in training and molding candidates who later realize they do not enjoy their work. Workruit brings technology to the rescue of this industry, driving results logically, rather than randomly. It drastically reduces the amount of time HR managers spend in sorting through lengthy databases, or in making cold calls to candidates who might not even be actively seeking a job.

The Workruit Mobile Application is free and downloadable for Android as well as iOS devices. It may be downloaded at workruit.com/download. A desktop dashboard is also available for companies. Any further information about the application may be requested at info@workruit.com
