As leaders, we will have to reduce our key drivers and KPIs for our top of the funnel activities early to be successful. While we experiment with many activities during our initial days, it is equally important to find out what will produce the desired results. With over a year of experience building Truepush, I have narrowed down four key factors that have accelerated our growth.
Develop a strong rich content marketing strategy
The content strategy is about creating, managing, and selecting the media that you create (of course, you own). These media can be of any format, text, audio, video and image tailored to your audience.
You can always start with the simplest and most basic form of content, text. Although, it is recommended to work in other formats to cover the general audience. Remember! You don’t know how your audience likes to consume your content.
Be driven by the agenda while creating or choosing a format. At Truepush, we come up with a plan over many small/large experiments and focus on one strategy.
∙ We experimented with 2-3 approaches to website content, keeping optimization in mind.
∙ Our blogs talked about our product and the problem it could solve. To attract more audience, we smartly work our titles, infuse Truepush and the offer in between. ∙ We also optimize our blogs by linking relevant blogs within the content. This helped us improve our average page depth.
∙ Frequently Asked Questions, How-To Guides, and Integration Guides are a must-have and help you adopt tools. These guides help you reduce your reliance on subject matter experts. We have seen almost a decrease in demo calls if you have clearly explained the process.
White papers are reports to inform the audience about complex problems that can be solved from our experience in creating the product and helping multiple clients from different verticals.

Good SEO practice will help you drive traffic to your website that would otherwise be very difficult to receive. Traffic effectiveness can be measured with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other notable tools like Diib, webmaster tools, and Moz bar. - Keyword ranking – where your website ranks in search engines for a keyword-relevant to your business (push notifications in the case of Truepush). Done correctly, it will have a huge impact on your web traffic, lead generation, and conversions. You should first prepare a list of the top 20 keywords and create a content strategy for your website and blogs so that these keywords are mentioned frequently. The only thing to make sure is not to mention it too many times, as this is a practice against search engine policy. In addition, the relevance of the keywords is also important, otherwise, Google will consider your article to be misleading and it is very likely that it will not rank in the search engines.

We have an ever-changing business development strategy formulated for Truepush. It always changes because we change it quite frequently until it gives us the desired results. Our idea of a meaningful partnership is to drive growth for Truepush, primarily focused on improving growth metrics such as domain authority, page authority, and website traffic. How?
You backlinks me, your strategy helped us get good quality backlinks without breaking a sweat. When we blog, we look for the opportunity to link to relevant blog links. In return, we go ahead and ask your website owner to backlinks our blog. This win-win strategy helps you improve domain authority, hence your website’s ability to rank higher.
The partnership and collaboration strategy allowed us to partner with various accelerators, media partners, and infrastructure companies to drive growth. These associations helped bring Truepush to the wider community. Programs or campaigns are planned and executed in such a way that subscriptions are waived in a number.
EX: We hosted a webinar to invite industry leaders from various domains to discuss the emerging opportunities and challenges that startups and corporations face during the extraordinary times of the pandemic. This initiative gave us a lot of momentum and qualified leads that helped us shape our product roadmap.
Our media and public relations strategy was simple; We emailed the media companies and asked them to publish coverage of us. Our numbers told a great story and therefore the media preferred to talk about us. We strive to get one post a month, thus bringing the brand to more people.
Audio and video content helped us improve our presence on video platforms such as Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcast, and many more. Our content assets across multiple platforms helped us rank higher in search engines and helped us reach more people who prefer audio/video content over text.
