The Startup Fest - Inspire, Innovate, Incubate

There are few people who are born to be entrepreneurs, while some others get inspired to take up the road of entrepreneurship over their lifetime. The latter however, will need the right kind of inspiration to be determined enough to take the risks of leaving a secured 9- 5 job and enter the field of innovation , creativity and a gamut of highs and lows.

India is  a young nation with a majority of its population consisting of people in the age group 18 to 30 years. Such young people play a major role in shaping the future of the county.  Understanding the important role played by this young generation and the need to encourage them to take up the road of starting up,  the team at My startups (Excelsior) is all set to organise The Startup Fest in March 2016.

This fest is spread over 2 days and the main motto of the fest is to inspire and encourage  young people to join the startup scene. It is mainly aimed at students who have the zeal to take up entrepreneurship. It is a platform that allows students from different fields to connect with founders of successful startups, investors, educators and other inspiration mind in startup scene.

The startup fest  happening in the city on 5^th and 6^th March 2016 is designed as a conference that brings together innovative startups and students. The two day event will allow entrepreneurs, investors, students and young people to meet, talk, and get inspired by one another. The main goal of this conference is to inspire people and equip young people in process of starting their own startup.

What to expect over the weekend –

As a participant of the startup fest, you will get a chance to be a part of –

• Startup Fair: Walk around, meet other founders and learn about the startup scenes – work, challenges and career opportunities
• Group conversations: Get a chance to sit down with startup leaders and 10-12 other students in an intimate and lively discussion
• Career Fair: This fest is a platform to connect students and startups through Existing Job opportunities
• Panel discussion: Get a chance to be a part of a panel gathering of 7 startups and one host to share experience and advices in an intimate Experience
• Pitch Awards: The fest conclude with pitch awards in which teams can pitch their Ideas in front of Expert Jury
• Workshops: Learn everything from scaling technology to starting company as student. Also, get a chance to learn from best companies in our hands on workshop and deepen your knowledge

The startup fest is also a chance to listen to experienced people talk about their experiences in the field of startup and entrepreneurships.  Each speaker series is organized to guide and walk all the participants through startup business plan from idea generator to business development. The diverse and kick ass speeches are surely going to ignite the entrepreneurship spirit within all the participants.
