Univariety is an Hyderabad Based startup started in 2011 has recently raised a notable 12.5 crore rupees from the Naukari owner InfoEdge.It is not the first time for univariety to raise such huge funds, in the initial stage itself this startup has bagged 2 million USD as an angel funding.
Univariety is founded by Varun Agarwal (ex-Mckinsey) and Jaideep Gupta (ex-EY) , The companies provides a comparison platform for various courses, products and services apart from counselling students and now with the raised money , Univariety is looking forward to inbound sales, mobile app, product-tie-ups, marketing and brand building.
Well , that’s a win on win for Info Edge too as the investor belongs to the same domain of education comparing portals like siksha aimed at admissions in Indian colleges.
