WhistleDrive – Revamping the Traditional Employee Transportation Processes!
4 years ago Saritha KeshamoniWe are getting better with technology from day-to-day.
The progress we made in the last few years by integrating technology in our daily lives is just an example of how we can get much better and better!
During our discussion with the Founder & CEO, WhistleDrive, Rakesh Munnanooru, He highlighted that “There are many industries like Transportation, where technology integration can help us in building a safe and efficient transportation process.
Most of the corporate companies provide transport facilities to their employees but while choosing the service provider they follow the same traditional process of either fleet or fleet+Tracking Software. But, there is much more. Choosing a fleet service provider along with the tracking software just won’t do enough.â€ÂÂ
Rakesh believes that traditional transportation practices are leaving us way behind in terms of adopting technology and also costing us huge amounts and time.
In the traditional transportation process, The main challenge is that The Fleet Service provider and the Technology Provider would be different in most of the cases. So there would be a Communication gap in understanding the ground challenges between the teams, and corporates lose Control in handling the Operations.
And there are a lot of manual tasks involved like rostering, route planning, vendor allocation, cab assignment, creating reports and billings. All the tasks are very crucial and require huge manpower.
The utmost important concern for the corporates in their transportation process is Safety. As we mentioned, most of the companies use a service provider with just location tracking. But that’s not enough to ensure the safety of the employees. With the help of technology, we can do much better likewise we do with the on-demand services like Ola, Uber, etc.
So, With the aim of providing full control over the transportation process to the corporates, WhistleDrive, a Hyderabad based company provides a fully managed solution, with the help of technology.
Rakesh mentioned that their Whistle Tech Software automates most of the crucial activities involved in the transportation process like Rostering, Route Planning, Vendor Allocation, Cab Assignment, Billings & Reports, which saves a lot of money, manpower for the corporates.
Based on the role of operation, all the stakeholders are provided with dashboards like Employee App for the Employees, Driver App for the Drivers and the Admin dashboards for the Management team.
They provide a mobile application for both employees and the Drivers with all the latest and advanced Safety, Security Features like Number Masking, SOS Alerts, Location Sharing with Family and others.
Using the Admin dashboards the transportation management team can have an eagle-eye view of the whole process at any given time. From Monitoring & Tracking the live location to Alerts, the team can have a complete view of the operations.
Rakesh adds that,
“All our cabs and drivers undergo a stringent 3-layer verification process before onboarding and with the help of AI and blockchain we ensure the better Route Optimizations and Data Security for the Corporates.â€ÂÂ
WhistleDrive has recently raised Series B funding of Rs.72 Cr from a Chicago based firm Colosseum Group. Currently, they are operating with a Fleet of 700+ serving 30+ Clients across Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore.
