IACC EMPOWERING WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS GO GLOBAL!

Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), established in the year 1968, is an apex bi-lateral Chamber synergizing India-US Economic Engagement. The IACC acts as a catalyst for sustainable growth of business between India and the US. It also has the privilege of working closely with the US embassy and the Indian government providing feedback and recommendations on various issues and also giving an opportunity to its members to interact with senior officials from both the governments regularly.

The IACC, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Branch launched a unique Bootcamp to Scale Women Entrepreneurial ventures named SHREE on the occasion of  Women’s Day 2019.  SHREE was launched by Ms. Katherine Hadda, Consul General, US Consulate, Hyderabad along with Mr. Srikanth Badiga (Chairman), Mr. Vijaya Sai Meka (Vice-Chairman)  and Ms. Sreedevi Devireddy (Chairperson, Women Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Committee) of  IACC AP & TS.

The program is an immersive 2-day boot camp scheduled to be held on 11th & 12th of April in Hyderabad. This will include sessions on various scaling up and going global strategies. SR Innovation Exchange (SRiX) will provide post-Bootcamp Mentoring support for 3 months for all the participants. TheCapitalNet has been roped in as the Knowledge Partner.  Facilitators from prominent B-Schools, Industrialists from India & US connection, Business and sector-specific Mentors will be part of this initiative said Mr.Srikanth Badiga.

This initiative is to identify and promote potential businesswomen who are already in business and wish to expand their operations globally especially to the US. This program will give women the required knowledge and guidance to think about global operations, where the opportunities and returns are realistic.

“Being globally competitive is any Entrepreneurs dream and aim. While the global marketplace has become more interconnected and accessible, the risks involved in doing business abroad are increasing day by day. SHREE is an endeavor to make women entrepreneurs aware of the fine distinctions of going global and safeguard them from potential risks”, said Ms. Sreedevi Devireddy (Chairperson, Women Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Committee, IACC AP & TS)

All the Women Entrepreneurs who are interested to participate can contact IACC AP & TS at shikha@iaccindia.com
