HackMania- Come Code Your Dreams!

HackMania, organised by Hyderabad Entrepreneurs Society (HES), brings to us a two-day tech hackathon, being held at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. Its a one of its kind event in the city where innovative products and ideas will be showcased to reach their potential breakthrough.

What to expect?
Spread over a period of two days (this weekend on October 11th and 12th), the event will be a platform for sponsors to meet with some of the best developers, designers, and hackers from in and around Hyderabad. 

The development time is stipulated to be 24 hours, starting at 12:00pm on Saturday and ending at 12:00pm, Sunday. This is the time where sponsors will be able to interact with participants, play the role of mentors, host workshops and also prepare a company exhibit on one of the provided booths.

Another major takeaway here are internship offers from more than 50 start-ups in the tech and non-tech fields.
Further, opportunity on bagging prizes worth more than Rs.50,000!
Also, workshops on android, windows, game dev and more!

Phanindra Sama, Founder & Ex-CEO, Redbus.in

Phanindra Sama, BITS alumni. He founded RedBus, which is India’s biggest online bus ticketing company in August 2006.

It was taken over by the Ibibo Group, a joint venture of South Africa’s Naspers and China’s Tencent in June 2013 for $138 Million (INR 800 Crores).

Ramesh Longanathan, MD & VP-Products at Progress Software

Center Head (& Vice President- Products), Progress Software’s Hyderabad labs, responsible for leading the product development at the Hyderabad Development center. He is one of the forces driving the startup ecosystem in Hyderabad.
