The Indian health care sector has been on a booming spree since a decade at least. This sector is expected to be a $280 billion industry by 2020, growing at a compounded annual growth rate of 16% every year. This startups acts as a local health aggregator which connects you with best doctor who can reach your home in shortest possible time. ZOZZ uses technology to make the home health service manageable and scalable at the same time, which makes them unique when compared to other providers, who have their own fleet of doctors which is not as scalable as ZOZZ.

The three main services provided by this amazing startup are –

• On call doctor at home – Get home visits from the best doctors. Forget the hassle of fixing appointments and waiting in queue
• Physiotherapy at home – Get physiotherapy treatment from experts at comfort of your home. Schedule your appointments via app
• Online Pharmacy – Our app makes it very simple for your order medicines online in India. You will get the medicines delivered from the nearest pharmacy in your location

This startup is the brain child of Jayadeep Reddy, with Srikanth as his co – founder. Jayadeep had his first startup also in the healthcare sector, called eVaidya , which he exited in 2015. His experience at eVaidya taught him that most of the customers preferred home health care providers and the immense need of on-demand healthcare for people led him to start ZOZZ. To test run his idea, he initially came up with a pilot where he aggregated few of his known doctors to visit patients at home and observed the response. Surprisingly, the response was too good to start a business in this sector and that is how ZOZZ was born.

Before starting up, Jayadeep worked in pharmaceutical and hospital industry for more than 6 years. His co-founder and friend Srikanth has been working with him for last 6 years and currently, at ZOZZ he takes care of marketing and partnerships while Jayadeep focuses on products, technology and execution. Apart from these two, the core team members happen to be people who were a part of Jayadeep’s startup journey for the last 5 years and he claims to be lucky enough to have a team that believes in his ideas and shares his vision.

How does the service work?

• You can download the ZOZZ apps on you Android phones and choose the service you want – Doctor, physiotherapy or pharmacy services. The service is going to be available soon on iPhones as well
• The second step will ask you to either request an appointment in the next one hour or you can schedule a visit on any date that you wish to
• For ordering medicines online, all you have to do is click a picture of your prescription and send it across. The nearest pharmacy will deliver your medicines to you within an hour

Plan #1: Family Care Plus

This plan is priced at Rs. 4999 which is valid for 6 months and includes 6 doctor visits, anytime pharmacy and preventive health checkup where the team of ZOZZ will pick up sample from your home and do comprehensive checkup with 30 tests. Only 1 person in a family can avail this

Plan #2: Family Care Premium

This plan is priced at Rs. 7999 which is valid for 12 months and includes 12 doctor visits, anytime pharmacy and preventive health checkup where the team of ZOZZ will pick up sample from your home and do comprehensive checkup with 45 tests. Only 1 person in a family can avail this

The core team of ZOZZ is already doing very well in Hyderabad and plans to expand their services across South India by April 2016 and to all the metro cities by the end of this year. Once they have achieved this, they plan to focus on tier 2 and tier 3 cities. They are working on their own IOT home health care devices to make care much more manageable and aim to launch them early next year.
