Start-up cricket league believes that it is just not about creating future but also to lay a strong foundation of network for a quality built-up. Startup Cricket League is an opportunity to help start-ups drive their future fuelled by premium network.

Cricket is that one adhesive which is capable of binding one of the world’s most populated nations, India. When cricket can work wonders in bringing nation together, how magical can it be to build a powerful startup ecosystem. This was the seed in Mr. Sai Kiran Gundas mind. Sai Kiran Gunda, founder of SCl, an entrepreneur himself understands the importance of having a strong startup ecosystem to foster entrepreneurship support for startups. He thereby cultivated this thought into a massive field named; Start-Up Cricket league. This is one of a kind and the world’s first sporting event tailor-made for Startups.

SCL took its first big step in 2015 and witnessed an overwhelming support. This drove an endeavouring passion in the team to make SCL’16 bigger, better and efficacious. Start-up cricket league 2016 made a foray into 4 different cities namely, Bangalore, New Delhi, Jaipur and Hyderabad piloted by Sai Kiran Gunda. All the cities witness zestful and indefatigable energy. Varied talents like remarkable speakers, outstanding entrepreneurs, techies, marketers, game changers, creative folks, dreamers, achievers, investors, startup ecosystem players from across India had come together, swing bats, bowled hurdles of creation and chased boundaries for innovation.

Face of Startup Cricket League Akhil Akkineni, the talent-house of Indian Cinema, was master blaster of SCL. Sizzling star, also a passionate cricketer and captain of the CCL cricket team, Telugu Warriors, Akhil being at start of his Tollywood career; shares his thoughts on need for platforms like Startup Cricket League for young budding entrepreneurs and dreamer to channelise energy , grow, connect and manifest into a success story.

Start-Up Cricket league is designed with an amazing array of activities and events. Showcase event was Startup Matches and power play. The Startups were pitied against each other’s teams in the cricket matches. SCL Season2  winning team, Azuga from Bengaluru had an opportunity to play with the team of investors and founders. Star attraction of the carnival was when Akkil Akkineni, thrashed balls throughout the length and breadth of the stadium.

SCL activities included idea pitching and start-up pitching; giving founder’s a chance to pitch their ideas that will take them a step closer to rise funding. Secondly, SCL had a Startup Expo where founder’s got a chance to demonstrate their product to investors, students and industry professionals.

SCL introduced some interesting opportunities for students like Internship Buckets. Interested Students were requested to drop resume in these buckets for intern offer from Dream Companies. It also had an on-spot intern recruitment activity called Internship free-hit where a time-lapse was provided to each applicant to interact with multiple companies. Other interesting spotlights from SCL’16 were selfie spots, Start-up debates, and shawarma roll.

Startup cricket league ’16 has proudly waved a flag of success and imprinted a league of startups. SCL marked its biggest success story this season. The team glorifies all its supporters, partners, sponsors for the success of Startup cricket league ’16 endeavor.
