If you are wannapreneur and want to transform into an entrepreneur then, startup Saturday is the platform which provides a monthly dose of motivation and inspiration. On the special occasion of women day, Startup Saturday provided a great platform to enable Women entrepreneurship where women can get connected with other motivated and determined women, self-help groups, and economic empowering platforms; to share, acknowledge and collaborate on making ideas happen.

The event started with the first speaker Shilpa Gaur who is the CO-founder at weekend thrill.com, where weekend thrill provides a platform for all weekend activities from travel, sports, and events to curated experiences.
They use design thinking to build the brand by giving quality service to their customers which is the competitive advantage of weekend thrill. Their competition is not with other brands but with the travel agents. They are planning on group trips where you make a group and others can join the group and you can benefit from it.Being a co-founder she is confident and builds the trust in the market and challenge hurdles in every step of the journey by stepping forward.

The next speaker was Priya Anant co-founder and director of Life circle and health services Pvt. Limited. It is a home health nursing and caregiving company catering to seniors.  In India senior population are 120 million people where 10% of them are bedridden and the society is in a position to not care for the need so that was the turning point for them and,  to start life circle and health services.  She says that building relationship is more important than networking.

The next speaker was Preeti Sinha founder at Greens and more.By targeting the diet and health conscious people her business started. To retain your customer being a startup you need to establish a strategy for subscriptions for your daily customers.The value additions she implemented on her product was of huge variety, health benefits and also she introduced a nutritionist and a public health expert for her company to reach the competitive market.

The next speaker was Aruna Lingam co-Founder at Bamboo House. With an idea to provide an opportunity for the architects to build a house with a bamboo their business started. Procurement of raw material was the challenge for her because of different bamboo acts for different states and transportation from forest to the construction area and even there are no supporting systems and organizations established for the idea they implemented and after 3 years of struggle, they constructed 250 bamboo houses.

The next speaker was Shruthi Ramesh founder and CEO at Jxtapose. Jxtapose is a creative space a platform for everyone in the creative spectrum.A young architect who says that we need to learn many things which are not taught in our college in order to drive success.

The next speaker was prof.Suman Kabra Dr. Suman, currently a Dean at BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus has interests in developing the point of care devices for diagnostics, suggests that antibiotics shouldn’t be taken without proper evidence and they are hiring people from microbiology and healthcare sectors.2018-03-12-photo-00000371
