Birth of the service

The best answer about the birth of any startup can be given only by the founder. Here is the story in the words of the founder Prashanth Gowriraju himself - “I was sitting in a salon on a lazy Sunday evening, sitting at the reception, waiting for my turn while as it was a busy day for those guys. In there, I over heard a conversation of 3 women (who possibly were friends), talking to each other about their problems with regards to the waiting time in salons. Listening to their talks, I wondered what it would be like if there was a beauty delivery service app that would send a stylist to home. That was when I started digging out details into this sector. Met most of the salons, who never encouraged home service model.  We found that there was a huge hole in the marketplace for women to have access to high-quality, on-demand beauty professionals, trained by the pros, and at an affordable price point!”

And thus OGO was born – A technology platform that connects highly vetted and well trained beauty professionals to consumers over an app. The startup went live in June this year, piloted the project among peer group initially. From 30 customers in 10 days to  over 1000+ happy customers in less than 4 months, they surely are pampering people with  ‘luxurious treatments’ delivered at their doorstep. OGO is an app that can be downloaded on your smartphone (currently only available for android users) and can be conveniently used to book appointments. This service is for men and women and thus you will find both kind of professional services available on their app.
