HYDERABAD STARTUP, SARAS ANALYTICS HAS BEEN SOLVING DATA CHALLENGES THROUGH PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS.

With increased reliance on data to analyze the trends in businesses and customer choices, data management & predictive analytics have become an integral part of the growth of the businesses. Analytics refers to the structured statistical analysis of quantitative data for the exploration, identification, and determination of relevant trends in data. Machine learning analyzes current & historical data to make predictions about future trends, and the predictive analytics global market is projected to reach approximately $10.95 billion by 2022, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 21 percent between 2016 and 2022, according to a 2017 report issued by Zion Market Research. Big corporations find it comparatively easier to analyze this data to make predictions for their customers.

Krishna Chaitanya, Abhiram Kolli, and Balaji Kolli founded Saras Analytics in 2016 intending to lower the barriers for small and medium-sized companies to become data-driven & make data a strategic asset for businesses. This Hyderabad-based startup offers subscription based as well as one-time service products & solutions which are personalized to cater to the business’s needs. Their first offering is Daton, which is their ETL platform that replicates data from SaaS platforms such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, Amazon, and Facebook Ads to cloud data warehouses like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake for analysts and developers. Daton consolidates data from a variety of data sources into a data warehouse within minutes and allows analysts to focus on generating insights rather than worrying about building and maintaining a data pipeline. Their second offering, Halo is an eCommerce focused Business Intelligence and Analytics platform that helps eCommerce businesses save time and money by automating the replication, transformation, preparation, and quality control of data for reporting and analysis. Halo transforms silos of eCommerce data into actionable data sets and useful reports that help in the growth of the business.

Saras Analytics helps businesses understand their performance and identify growth opportunities, through the complex data silos, thereby making them truly data-driven. Being a bootstrapped startup, the founders have invested a total of Rs. 3 crore thus far, with a team of 110 people & a customer base primarily consisting of DTC and commerce brands including the likes of Mama Earth, Athletic Greens, Plum Goodness, Candere, Levi’s, Mensa, Tumi, among others across the US, India, Europe, South East Asia, and the Middle East. “Many businesses are yet to realise this change in technological landscape, and we believe that it is only a matter of time before a completely new set of customers start to adopt cloud data warehouses. We already see this trend in many of our customers who a few years back would have never thought of taking on a data warehousing initiative. Whether a company has a mature analytics team or no analytics teams, we have a solution that fits their needs,” said Balaji Kolli, Co-Founder, Saras Analytics

Saras Analytics claims to have grown more than 6X in the last year and the startup reported an annualised recurring revenue (ARR) of over $2 million for FY21. The company aims to hit $4 million in revenues by the end of this year and expand their customer base to over 250. ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…“Our differentiation lies in our ability to support customers at any stage in their journey to become data-driven and at any budget,” he added further.
