T-Hub expends Rs. 15 million through the T-fund initiative

Disbursing Rs. 15 million, T-Hub today (28th March 2022) shortlisted 3 startups under its T-fund initiative. The selected startups are Perspect.Ai, Lauriko, and Millet Bowl. Allotting Rs. 1 crore to Perspect.Ai, and Rs. 25 Lakhs each to both the parties. The T-fund is led by the Telangana government and is sponsored by the ITE&C department. This Fund is under the State Innovation Policy and aims to promote and support early-stage technology startups in the State. T-Hub is the investment manager for this fund and the government has allocated Rs. 15M for this term 2021-22.
Speaking on this, T-Hub CEO Mahankali Srinivas Rao says, “Startups have the potential to become engines of job creation, and each successful startup helps us in creating a robust and thriving innovation ecosystem. With T-Fund, our priority is to accelerate the process of innovation and provide scaling opportunities by finding support for deserving startups. Ultimately, benefiting entrepreneurs to get enabled for growth globally.”
Moreover, Jignesh Talasia, co-founder & CEO, of Perspect.Ai says; “This money will help us reach our next milestone at least six months in advance. These funds will go towards strengthening our product & sales teams.” In addition, Sanjay Kumar, CEO & MD, Millet Bowl says; “We are thankful to T-Hub and T-Fund initiative for these funds. It will go towards scaling up and acquisition of consumers across India. These funds will also enable us in providing incentives and equitable benefits to millet farmers in Telangana.” Lastly, Lavanya Sunkari, Founder & CEO, of Laurika says; “We are the World’s 1st D2C brand to work on Lauric composition in the Nutraceutical segment. These funds will go towards R&D, technology, and team expansion.”
