The Global Startup Battle – A Recap

The Startup ecosystem was buzzing with energy and excitement last weekend as it was time for the Global Startup Battle. Organized at Amazon Development centre from 21st-23rd November, the event was a grand success with an excellent turnout of more than 80 registrations.

It didn’t stop just there! 13 Teams were formed and more than 35 ideas were pitched during the event, from which the top 3 winners are:

• 1st Prize: UBrand – gamified process of collecting brand feedback
• 2nd Prize: Fab Boutique – Enabling local boutiques to sell online
• 3rd Prize: We Haq- An artificially intelligent support tool for online stores

Apart from this, they were industry experts as panelists, mentors and speakers which was itself an immense learning and networking experience for all budding entrepreneurs. Manish Bhatia, Ramana gogula, Hemanth Satyanarayana, Ashok Verma, Suresh Kochittal, Diyanath Ali, Chandra Prakash Balani, Pawan Gupta, Aditya Vuchi, Sanjay Balachandran, Sheshakanth Munagapati, Sitakanth Ray were Mentors and Speakers at the event. The Judging panel for the event included Chennapa Naidu (MeraEvents), Bipin Chandra(IKeva and SuVitas Holistic HealthCare.), Raj Janagam(UnLtd Hydedrabad), Sri Peddu(Power House Venture), Ramesh Lognathan(Progress Software), Pankaj Diwan (Uptec Idealabs).
