IIT-H Startup PiStar Tech’s Plantar Pressure Analysis Mat Bags Aarambh ’22 Award

Hyderabad-based startup PiStar Tech has developed a ‘Flexible Podiatry System Mat’. This innovation is a digitally automated foot scanning system that provides complete plantar pressure analysis. At Aarambh 2022 organized by Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur, PiStar’s innovative technology won the title of ‘Best Idea’. Aarambh is a National entrepreneurship conclave where participants pitch their ideas throughout two rounds.
This year, from 650 entries, around 103 participants got the opportunity to pitch their ideas to an esteemed jury. The jury consisted of representatives from the University, Venture Catalysts, and Internationa; Centre for Entrepreneurship & Technology team. The Aarambh conclave has 3 categories namely; Idea, Prototype, and Product.
PiStar’s CEO Anis Fatema was chosen as the winner of the ideation round and received a cash grant of Rs. 60,000. Apart from this, several budding entrepreneurs and startups were recognized and awarded grants for ideation, proof of concept, prototype, and product.
