Internshala launches the 12th edition of Internshala Student Partner Program
6 years ago Saritha KeshamoniInternshala, India’s largest internship, and training platform, has launched the twelfth edition of Internshala Student Partner, a 70-day transformational journey that aims to turn college-going students into young professionals. Through the ISP program, Internshala intends to encourage students to develop their leadership, communication, and marketing skills while helping their peers get future ready via meaningful internships and online trainings in campuses across India.
The ISPs are mentored by Internshala team and a set of contests are designed for them based on which they earn rewards, financial incentives, and goodies. The ISPs take Internshala’s mission to bridge the gap between classroom education and industry’s expectations through internships and online training at the ground-level. The student partners work from their campuses and would also host seminars in the colleges to help their peers in internship hunt and learn industry-relevant skills.
Internshala first launched the ISP program in 2014 with 250 student leaders and over the last 11 editions, the program has grown both in scale and stature. In the twelfth edition, Internshala will select 30,000 ISPs across India. This intensive learning and development program is open to students from all backgrounds.
On the launch of the program, Sarvesh Agrawal, founder and CEO of Internshala, said, “Internshala has been on a mission to create a world full of opportunities for students so that they can build their dream careers. The ISP program is one such opportunity through which we focus on helping the students hone their soft skills, learn marketing, and develop leadership qualities. As a part of this edition, we would continue to put in efforts to take internships and online learning closer to the students in Tier 2 and 3 cities.”
