The Government of India’s 100 smart cities program has become the talk of the town. With cities like Hyderabad, planning to make it into the list, the opportunities are diversifying. While the bigger players have already started vying for action, challenges faced by consumers are yet to be addressed. To facilitate innovators and entrepreneurs around this area, Devthon in association with the IEEE Technology Management Council, Hyderabad is putting together a Smart Appliances Innovators Forum on August 23, 2014. The event is free and interested participants can apply through the application form.
The 1-day event will bring together engineers and product designers into to a mentor-mentee dialogue setting to network with experts. These experts bring in many years of experience in the area of smart appliances through their association with organisations like BHEL, NTPC, ECIL, TIFR and more. In addition to this, founders of start-ups currently in the area of Internet of Things and related fields are also taking part.
At the end of the event, you will have made connections with key stakeholders and identified areas to create an impact. This will help you through the journey of building solutions that unleash the latent productivity of urban population.
