NeoSapien, an Indian tech startup founded in January 2024 by Dhananjay Yadav and Aryan Yadav, has introduced an innovative wearable device that functions as a personal “second brain.” This AI-powered pendant is designed to help professionals and leaders boost productivity by seamlessly managing information, tasks, and communication.
The NeoSapien pendant uses personalized language models and knowledge graphs to adapt to its user’s needs. It records verbal and physical conversations (with consent), summarizes meetings, and provides actionable insights. It can even analyze emotions and tones in conversations to foster better communication.
Beyond its smart insights, the device doubles as a personal assistant, integrating with apps to manage tasks like drafting emails, booking cabs, and placing food orders. With a sleek design, four-day battery life, and cloud storage (soon to move to local storage), NeoSapien is portable, efficient, and future-ready.
NeoSapien’s evolution spans four generations, improving its design, usability, and features with each iteration. The current version, showcased on the show marks the pinnacle of its innovation. Priced at ₹14,999, it includes a one-year subscription for unlimited transcription and full access to its functionalities, with a renewal fee of ₹850 per year.
During their pitch, the founders sought ₹80 Lakhs for 2.5% equity. Namita Thapar saw its potential but suggested a stronger focus on mental health applications. She offered ₹80 Lakhs for 4% equity, which the founders accepted, valuing her expertise and connections.
NeoSapien aims to address the modern challenge of managing overwhelming amounts of information, acting as a digital memory aid for busy professionals. With its focus on innovation and usability, it’s not just a product—it’s a game-changer for productivity.
