Program on Fundamentals of Intellectual Property and Related Transactions for Start Ups & Entrepreneurs

Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Centre of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with USPTO-GIPA  and T-Hub is organizing half a day Program on Fundamentals of Intellectual Property and Related Transactions for Start-Ups & Entrepreneurs on 17 November 2017, T-Hub, Hyderabad

The Program aims to provide a platform for Startups to discuss on a range of perspectives pertaining to IP; the opportunities, challenges, and the role of IP for Startups in the rapidly evolving marketplace.

The Program will deliberate on some important topics; highlighting the centrality of Intellectual Property and its exploitation for achieving competitiveness. It is dedicated in bringing together Startups and experts to understand IPR, Govt. Initiatives on IPR facilitation for Start Ups, key agreements and necessary clauses to ascertain that confidential data & know how is protected. The Program will also have Representative from NITI Aayaog to discuss on Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) being held in Hyderabad.

 The program proposes to discuss on the following topics during the technical session:

·         Fundamentals Of Intellectual Property Right (IPR) for Start-ups & Entrepreneurs

·         IP Journey for Start Ups – Why, When, How and Where to Start.

·         IP Transactions: Understanding Types of Documents to protect IP, Difference between Licensing & Assignments
