CanvasFlip is a cloud-based prototyping and usability-testing stage. This platform allows product managers, UX teams, and entrepreneurs to validate their ideas and check user experience without having to write any code by hand.
Canvasflip is a Nasscom 10k venture and has received “HOT startups of the year 2014†award by CIO choice, it has been showcased at TIE Hackathon, The August fest, The Alpha Summit and many more.
It has received a warm adoption by globally spread clientele like Tech Mahindra, WhatSay mobile app, Paradigm creative being early adopters. With compilation of features requested by existing and prospective customers, they have a clear road-map for product development.
Canvasflip, a brainchild of two young but proven entrepreneurs, Vipul Mishra & Manish Jha is providing a platform for solving this issue. “By design, mobile apps are supposed to be more intuitive & should not need a walk through. This is most frequent we get. Canvasflip walk through are not like tutorials but it’s supposed to offer an easier on-boarding to the application user†says Mr.Vipul Mishra.
Speaking on the investment, Raghav Bahl, Vice President, BVP quoted this – “It is no news that design is playing an increasingly important role in the success of a mobile application. CanvasFlip enables product managers to validate mobile application design, by providing rich and conclusive usage feedback from the target user segment, even before a single line of code is written. This helps product managers reduce the time taken to bring the application to market and also save on expensive development resources. Finally, this is a passionate founding team with a deep understanding of the consumer pain point and strong product development skills.â€ÂÂ
The funds received by CanvasFlip will be majorly used to enhance the available product capabilities and enable the growth practices. They are also considering the idea of exploring international markets and will soon set up another office in California.
Most of the funding will go to the new office of CanvasFlip which is all planned to come up in Silicon Valley. The funding amount will be used as seed round to take this platform international and expand geographically across the globe.
In the last 6 months, CanvasFlip has been pretty busy in engaging with around 140 enterprises to aid them with their product development. Their client list includes companies like MakeMyTrip, Tech Mahindra and Paytm.
