Reboot – nurturing entrepreneurs & intrapreneurs

While most of the people complain about the quality of graduates today, not many take the initiative to solve the problem of this ‘unemployability’ issue and prepare students to face the corporate world.  There is no easy way  to  bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world and the need to fix this gap is of utmost importance.

Kaushik Nooguri strongly believes that experiential learning is the way forward and founded Spaceman and Mammoth, an educational startup. To incorporate experiential learning in the form of team based activities that teach unconventional ways to generate ideas that could potentially turn into businesses, the duo along with their team Jaisheel Goud and Namrata Logishetty  have designed Reboot , a 3-day intensive residential conference. Reboot acts as a window to work spaces where students delete their prior perceptions and work towards realising their true potential.

“Most undergraduate students have been busy hustling through college life and those entering the undergraduate eco system have been busy choosing the education path they want to ride upon. In this busy academic lifestyle most students end up graduating without having any knowledge about how the corporate world runs. They set a certain perception about the work culture and these perceptions may not always be true which leads to their expectations to be crushed.  After reboot, we aim for our delegates to start with a fresh perspective of industrial work culture with the knowledge of where they stand in today’s market; either as entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs or regular employees.”  quotes one of the cofounders, Kaushik.

Kaushik has successfully hosted three Reboot conferences previously and they have all generated a good response from students in Hyderabad. He believes in experiential learning and he has built reboot on the basic principles of providing his delegates with as much experience of the corporate world. Jaisheel and Namrata have helped thoroughly with the operations and logistics end of the event. Kaushik says that they have been his support system through planning and hosting the current edition of Reboot last weekend.

“We also provide delegates with the opportunity to network with entrepreneurs from various sectors to seek internship opportunities. Ms. Vaishali Neotia, Co-founder of Merxius Software, Mr. P. Sandeep, Co-founder of Hello Curry, Mr. Nayan Mitta, Co-founder of VioletStreet.com, Mr. Sanjay Enishetty, M.D of 50K Ventures and Mr. Vijay Senareddy, Co-founder of ConfluenceEdu were the speakers at the June 2016 Reboot. ” adds Namrata.

Reboot allows the participants  to reflect on their current scenario and discover new, exciting and unique opportunities through power talks, hands on skill development workshops and several other unique opportunities.
