Developing technology and coming up with ideas taking inspiration from their personal day expereinces, Marakkannu and Madhu bring to you, Scribleaf!

Daily work routines require excessive time to get things done. Numerous applicationare are used, to communicate, store and find information to track work, which might lead to delayed project statuses and eventually loss of clients. “Though we have many applications that intend to help project execution and information storage, a lack of integration between tools and a deficiency of a single platform for team work was our driver to look at ways to solve this problem” says Madhu. This was when ScribLeaf was first envisioned.

ScribLeaf is a platform for teams to connect employees, customers and partners into meaningful communication; measure performance and improve project execution. The platform builds an information & knowledge repository and helps teams plan and deliver successfully. Though, primarily aimed to be used in enterprises, the platform can be used in communities and associations as well.
From the day of quitting there high paying jobs the team sat at the drawing board and have now managed to get the basic product ready in less than a year. Market research, problem validation and planning took around three months and the product development took around eight months.

The 3 pillars on which the platform stands upon are –

  • Team Collaboration: connect employees, partners, and customers into a social way of communication
  • Building a knowledge-base: store and manage information in a central repository categorizing and summarizing for easier retrieval
  • Enabling Successful delivery: plan and communicate on the single platform with system tracking and providing real-time status

The company is registered in India and have most of the operations based out of there pod in Hyderabad. ScribLeaf is a now a strong team of 8 young professionals. The team has had discussions with a number of clients in India and the US who could related to the problem and would be interested in such a concept. Currently, the is in a private beta version and the team wants to clear the personal quality gate before releasing it.

The team seems to have a clearly defined roadmap of features and their plan to build a sustainable platform out of it. “We have a bright future to look at, where we can save millions of man-hours and billions of dollars by simplifying communication and streamlining data using technologies like natural language processing, semantic search and social communication” says Marakkannu.
