Startup-a-thon 2016

www.askfunding.in & www.askmentor.com are organising the “Startup-a-thon”, a 2-day and  first of its kind, startup focussed event in Hyderabad.

The event will have  approximately 30-40 promising startups & ideas being pitched to a panel of investors and a few  startups will be handpicked for a mentoring workshop.  The winners will be eligible for funding by angel investors.

The panel of investors includes the likes of  Aashish Malve, Founder, Angaros Management Co; Sachin Tummala, MD, Corpus Group, an investment firm that incubates, invests and help their portfolio companies to scale; Sanjay Darbha, Founder, peerlend.com, a crowd funding platform to meet the demand of hand loans in India; Suresh Rayudu Chitturi, MD, Srinivasa Hatcheries, a leading firm in its domain; Varun  Reddy, Director Intersoft & myhrsoftpro.com, a Human Resource management solutions company; Venkat Reddy TC, Founder & Director, Emug Technologies, a concept development and manufacturing firm with a global presence; Viiveck Verma, Coach &Angel Investor and also one of  the principal organizers of the TEDxHyderabad 2015; Abhay Dixit, Founder, Tarang Engineering and a visiting faculty at IIM-A; Atal Malviya, Founder & CEO, Spark10, India’s  leading European Accelerator and few others.

The organisers are keen on identifying and mentoring student startups at the event and are offering special discounts for students to encourage them to be a part of the event. Students with a working prototype can pitch for funding. Students can click here for student discounts.
