Stockroom.io raises Pre Series A round funding

captureStockroom.io was founded in 2015 and since then there is no way back for the team of founders. Having launched in 2015, they were successful in raising a funding just after 5 months in October and just recently, they have been able to raise Pre Series A round funding led by the founders of MANCER consulting!

This unique startup, went live four months back in May 2015 on product hunt and emerged as one of the top most voted product. Stockroom.io helps web developers create their portfolio with just a click using Github signup. The platform currently supports Github, Stackoverflow and Bitbucket integrations and is planning to launch integrations with other social profiles soon. Co-founded by Naren Krishna, Hari Krishna and Ashish Kumar Sahoo, this startup has a list of eminent clients including Amazon, Microsoft, UrbanClap. Puru Modani, a member of the Mumbai angels screening committee and a seasoned angel investor is part of Stockroom’s advisory board.

The startup has raised an undisclosed Pre Series A funding, led by Satya D Sinha and Gyanendra Singh, Founders of Mancer consulting. “We are excited to be a part of Stockroom Journey. In last 15 months Stockroom had amazing traction and our investment and experience shall further help Stockroom to acquire more customers, strengthen the technical team and move faster on the Machine learning platform” says Gyanendra Singh, COO of Mancer consulting.

Maintaining the streak of being a unique startup, few days back, Stockroom launched its flagship event HackerInHer. As one can understand by the name, this event lays its emphasis on women – it is an exclusive career fair and networking platform for all those working women and to be women entrepreneurs.

“Our growth has been completely organic till date and going forward we will be aggressively working on our marketing strategy and aim to on board more users as well as well as companies on the platform. Partnership with other complimentary online platforms is also going to be one of our major focus areas.” shares Naren Krishna, who is the COO and Head of growth and partnerships of Stockroom.

Until last year, the startup focused on building analytical tools for learning. With the on – set of 2017, they plan to shift their focus on building SaaS platform which will focus on Candidate recommendation System and Predictive Analytics.
