A shout to all of those folks who love building mobile apps. If building mobile apps has always been your passion and you just can’t get enough of it, The Way2hack Appathon is just for you. This appathon is an open challenge for all IOS, Windows and Android mobile app developers.

Way2SMS , India’s largest free messaging destination, will be hosting this appathon in collaboration with Collab House to bring together mobile developers and designers for 24 hours of unadulterated & pure coding fun. The appathon is a great opportunity for rockstar developers to bring their talent in front of a bunch of investors, Founders, VCs for career opportunities and cash prizes.

The objective is not only to build outstanding applications but also contributing to the developers’ community. As is a Way2SMS tradition, the Appathon is here to test participants skill enable them with better opportunities. There’ll be food, space, judges, mentors, and prizes. All you have to do is show up with a laptop and a passion for making things.

Here is what you have to do:

1) Prepare an abstract of what you are planning to build
2) Submit Your Idea to way2hack. Once the organisers receive it, they will review it
3) If shortlisted, you will be invited to participate at the appathon.

This could be your chance to get a firsthand exposure to the industry and get to learn from some amazing developers. Working as a team is essential to complete any project and that is one of the key takeaways of this event. After 24 hours of hacking, you will be given a chance of presenting a demo of what you have been doing as a part of this competition. And, if all goes well, walk away with the offer of your dreams!

The event is all set to happen on the 20th and 21st of June 2015 in Hyderabad. Though it is an OPEN event with zero registration charges, prior REGISTRATION is mandatory. Do visit way2hack.co to read more about the guidelines and to register.
