If you have a novel app that can help save priceless lives, then a 1 mn$ investment seems like a worthy price to pay. The funding will be utilized for a three point focus:

  • Pushing quicker consumer adoption
  • Scaling technology infrastructure and,
  • Increasing the size of the team

The next step of series A funding for the start up by venture capitalists would be 1 to 1.5 years from now.

Aditya Vuchi, Founder and CEO of the Hyderabad based trailblazer Start Up describes Zippr as a “central location management platform that enables users to create short codes (Zipprs) for any location on the planet and share it with friends/vendors avoiding low value conversations around communicating or finding an address”.

Zippr’s working is simple and coherent. It identifies the user location on a map and assigns it a short, easy to share unique code. This code can then be sent to anyone using multiple medium like mails, Whatsapp or even SMS for the likes of non smart phone users. Once the receiver clicks on the code link, they are automatically reverted to the specific address mapped on Google maps for easier visibility.

The app can be used for multiple activities, be it address based transactions like E-commerce deliveries, grocery deliveries or business meetings and social hangouts. But that is not all. They can even save lives. With an extremely significant tie up with 108, they claim to save those precious few minutes you are obligated to waste on explaining addresses during emergencies.

Be it a son trying to explain the address of his father who just had a stroke or a tourist wearing patience to explain his hotel address to the restaurant down the corner, Zippr is one language that can be understood by anyone and everyone. The only requirement is to download the app in case you are a smartphone user or buy a zippr card otherwise.
