The Tech savvy Chief Minister that Chandrababu Naidu is, he is leaving no stone unturned in adopting technology for implementing various developmental programmes in Andhra Pradesh. On Friday, the 8th of July 2016, the Andhra Pradesh government kicked off a huge household survey to collect socio-economic data of 14.8 million households in the state. The Smart Pulse Survey’ by the state will take 22 days and more than 30,000 enumerators (persons collecting census details) are involved in the exercise. Data ranging from a citizen’s aadhar card number to mobile number is collected  on a tablet device and is then uploaded online in real-time.
Hyderabad-based start-up Zippr is helping the AP state government in geotagging each household in the state by allotting a unique alphanumeric code and then linking the household data  to the geotagged location.
“The government is using Zippr’s digital door numbering platform to provide smart addresses for all the citizens of Andhra Pradesh. Our component is focused on smart address generation and is part of a much larger survey being conducted by the government,†quoted Aditya Vuchi, founder and CEO of Zippr.
This is indeed a great milestone for the team at Zippr and history will remember Zippr for being part of the new AP building process! StartUpHyderabad congratulates the entire team at Zippr and wishes them with many more milestones and achievements.
