In a world where instant food often means compromising on health, The Naturik Co. is redefining convenience with its nutritious, preservative-free alternatives. Founded by Sahil and Isha Vohra, this Haryana-based startup is on a mission to bring clean, wholesome, and easy-to-prepare meals to Indian households. Their vision is clear—to eliminate sugar, refined flour, palm oil, and artificial preservatives from everyday foods while ensuring they remain quick and hassle-free to make.

Sahil, who previously worked as National Sales Manager at ITC and played a key role in Britannia’s go-to-market strategy, brings deep expertise in the food industry. Isha, with 12 years of HR experience and four years running a QSR business, adds operational strength to the venture. Their combined knowledge in sales, marketing, and food retail laid the foundation for a brand that caters to health-conscious consumers without compromising on taste or convenience.

The Naturik Co. offers a variety of nutrient-dense, easy-to-make meals, including their protein-rich cheela mix, spiced masala khichdi, and a high-protein sprouts mix. What makes the brand stand out is its innovative approach to food preservation. By using moisture control and vacuum packing, they extend shelf life without adding preservatives, ensuring a fresh and healthy experience for consumers. The brand has already made a strong mark in the market, with 51% of its sales coming from retail stores across Delhi-NCR and 49% from online platforms like Amazon, Instagram, and its own website. With a presence in over 470 retail stores, their aggressive social media marketing strategy has significantly boosted both brand recognition and offline sales.

During their pitch on Shark Tank India, Sahil even brought Aman Gupta on stage to demonstrate just how quick and easy it was to prepare their cheela mix. The sharks were impressed not just by the product’s simplicity but also by the strong business acumen behind it. Seeking ₹50 lakh for 2% equity, the founders sparked a fierce bidding war among the investors. Vinita Singh and Piyush Bansal offered ₹50 lakh for 2.5% equity, while Anupam Mittal and Kunal Bahl made much bolder offers—₹2 crore for 10% equity and ₹4 crore for 20% equity. Aman Gupta called Sahil a “goon” of the food industry, acknowledging his deep understanding of the market.

In a rare and unexpected turn, all five sharks teamed up to invest in the company together. The final deal closed at ₹4 crore for 22.22% equity, with investments from Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Vinita Singh, Kunal Bahl, and Piyush Bansal. Securing an all-shark deal is an extraordinary achievement on Shark Tank India, proving that The Naturik Co. is not just another food startup but a true disruptor in the space. With the backing of some of India’s top entrepreneurs, Sahil and Isha are now set to revolutionize the instant food market, making healthy, preservative-free meals an essential part of Indian households.
