Have an idea that could change F1 ?

Do you have an app, a page, an AR/VR solution or just about anything that could change the greatest racing spectacle on the planet?

In order to bring the sport closer to its fans, Tata Communications, Formula 1 race and Mercedes-AMG Petronas  Motorsport  are inviting submissions on ‘how you would bring My F1 to life’. The aim of the challenge is to inspire fans to use their technical know how and ideas to transform the F1 experience of millions of fans all over the world.

 The solution provided should give a clear description of technology components required, smart system analytics used, the infrastructure used to create the platform and the most important of all, provide a complex security system. A list of data points and tools are provided in their website here which can assist the participants in the design of their solution.

  Submission requirements:

1) A written proposal of no more than 1000 words which should include the following 3 sections:

• Overview of solution ( upto 700 words)
• Summary of the key features used in the solution (upto 200 words)
• Technology used in the solution ( upto 300 words)

2) Upto 3 visuals can be used to show the proposed interface

Innovation and creativity, technical content, quality of the material and input and originality of the solution, feasibility  will be the key criteria considered while evaluating the submissions.

Eligibility:

This challenge is open individuals above 18 years and for legal residents of the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada (excluding Quebec), Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland; Netherlands; Norway; Russia; Singapore; Spain; South Africa; Sweden; the United Kingdom; and the United States. Grand Prize:

The winner will receive $50,000 USD and a trophy and in addition, F1 will consider the Grand Prize Winner’s entry for incubation.
