Vasudha Foundation organizes a philanthropic service
4 years ago Tata TejaVasudha Foundation, a charitable trust from Vasudha Group of Institutions today organized an Annual Philanthropic Service where they were providing financial assistance to 50 plus NGOs. Vasudha foundation supports charitable, community and civic programs that focus on children, youth and aged in the areas of education, health care and shelter homes. Vasudha Foundation was founded in the year 2002 by Mr. Mantena Venkata Rama Raju, chairman of Vasudha Group of Institutions.
More than 50 NGOs received cheques in this service programme where an amount close to 2.5 crores was disbursed.
During this philanthropic service, a grand felicitation ceremony for Maha Sahastraavadhani Shri Garikapati Narasimha Rao, was organized by Vasudha Foundation today. Sri. Manthena Venkata Rama Raju, Chairman, Vasusha Foundation & Vasudha Group of Industries; Chief Guest Sri. M Ramalinga Raju Founder Chairman Integra Connect, USA felicitated Dr. Rao where he delivered a speech about philanthropic services and joy of giving.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mantena Venkata Rama Raju said, “The Vasudha Foundation is proud to support the NGOs. Our donation is directed to the well-being of children, youth and aged. It’s been incredible to see the young ones and the aged get benefitted through our organization. We follow the age-old principle of ‘Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavanthu’ which means, Everyone on earth should live happily. On this happy occasion, we are also honoured to felicitate Dr. Garikapati Narasimha Rao. Sri Garikapati garu enlightens people with about our scriptures like Vedas and shares the knowledge to common man.â€ÂÂ
Vasudha Foundation has different programs for different sectors.
Aadarana – Programme designed to help physically and mentally disabled people
Aasraya – Programme designed to address the welfare of senior citizens
Akshaya – Programme designed to help at times of natural disasters
Arogya – Programme designed to saves the lives
Vidya – Programme designed to extend financial assistance to the poor students pursuing higher education such as engineering, medicine, pharmacy and PG courses.
