Motor Ninja - Your bike, their Honour

Night outs with friends are best memories. Those nights when we all meet to chill, gossip and have loads of fun. And not to forget all the million dollar ideas we share with each other!

But, how often do these eureka moments from night out turn into valid startup ideas and see the light of the day?

Well, not often but it did turn true in the case of these 5 colleagues – Ashim, Vivek, Manav, Varun, and SriVani. Being avid bike lovers, they came up with an idea to provide an end to end bike maintenance and servicing platform for customers.

MotorNinja – their startup idea actually came up while they were discussing about funny stories of their respective friends who got stuck in embarrassing situations because of their bike failure. It took them just 5 days to set it up – from  immensely persuasive talks with the authorized service dealers to choosing a stylish name and starting operation. That is the story of  “Motor Ninja: Your Bike Our Honour”.

MotorNinja presently serves two different verticals –

• Bike Servicing: A user can use this platform to schedule a service. Their Ninja (team member) will pick up the bike from the user’s place,  it serviced at an authorized service center and drop it back. Also, they are in the process of introducing PUC & Insurance renewals as well. This will make the whole process of owning and riding a bike much easier  
• Breakdown Assistance: Whenever a user’s bike break downs they don’t have to drag it to the nearest mechanic anymore because this platform provides breakdown services as well. The user just has to enter his/her mobile number on their website and their Ninja (team member) will connect them to the nearest service center. For this, they have tied up with a number of unauthorized service centers too

Apart from these 5 friends, their team has 2 more co – founders, Anusha and Nirmal who take care of marketing and associated activities. Manav takes care of the finances, Varun plays the role of a strategist, Nirmal is their tech Ninja and Ashim is the chief dreamer at MotorNinja.
