Going through a rigorous 6-level profile verification process including their mobile number, work email, personal email, Government ID, Facebook and Linkedin, the app conducts a 16-question based quiz which ranges across social, emotional, intellectual and relationship values. The app is available either through registration or paid subscription on a 3/6/12 monthly basis which ranges between Rs. 5,999 to Rs. 15,999. The unique technology used by the platform has a patent-pending in the US, and is growing at a 30% revenue rate every month. 

Carving a niche in the broken market of matrimony, Betterhalf.ai has raised $3 Million on 26th May, as a part of their Pre-Series A Funding round led by Y Combinator Winter ‘21 batch, S2 Capital, Quiet Capital and marquee angel investors like Kunal Shah and Samvit Ramadurgam. Prior to this round, Y Combinator, Tribe Capital, Nurture Ventures, and Saurabh Garg (Founder/CBO, NoBroker) and Shailesh Rao(Ex-MD of Google India, former Partner, TPG Capital) had invested $2.3 Million through a seed round. With this investment, Betterhalf.ai plans to launch new features to upgrade the security and authenticity of the users, boost user engagement, introduce monetisation features, and improve growth and visibility of the company organically. The startup intends to disrupt the Indian matrimony space and intends to reach 1 million users over the next two years.
