Established in February, 2013, ‘Chocolicious’, based in Hyderabad has been making chocolates and winning people’s hearts for more than a year now. Like any other business that is self-funded, Chocolicious had a very humble beginning. But with time, people’s appreciation and creative use of Social Media platforms, Chocolicious has made a mark in a lot of places.

Nidhi Agarwal, an MBA student from ITM business school started this out of sheer interest. It is her interest and the “Doing what you love” factor that goes into making these chocolates delicious. Chocolicious aims at maintaining the expertise in the fine art of making chocolates and in delivering excellent quality home-made chocolates to all their clients, with each piece carefully crafted and prepared keeping the client’s requirements in mind. Managing MBA and Chocolicious wasn’t an easy job. But looking at the success in both the fields, it shows the dedication and commitment involved in making this venture a success.

Two things required in today’s rapidly moving world are Creativity and Flexibility. Chocolicious blends both of these aspects in making the finest chocolates.

Creativity can be seen in everything that Chocolicious does. It follows the principle of Customization and Personalization. A simple example is the various types of chocolates that are available for order like nutty, crunchy, dark chocolates, almond centered and the list goes on. The chocolate mix is chemical free and made fresh. Another creative aspect is the packaging of these chocolates. They are packed in different ways, catering to every type of occasion. It follows various themes like Anniversary, Birthdays, Lovey-dovey, Professional and more, carving a place for itself in the hearts of many. As for flexibility, two things are noticed- The shapes and sizes, and the price factor.

Chocolates here are available in every possible shape, according to the client’s requirements. Large, small, round, square, heart etc. And the price factor? It ranges from Rs. 100 to Rs. 5000, clearly meeting the requirements of every client even in the price aspect.

Chocolicious has never used a major marketing tool to promote itself. Word-of-mouth and client’s feedback about Chocolicious has helped it garner huge attention and popularity.

“I constantly try to innovate with the flavors, textures, packaging to make it special for the people and the appreciation and feedback encourages me”, Nidhi says.
In due course of time, Chocolicious aims at expanding its operations throughout the country setting up their branches in various cities. Their plan is to set up a base in as many cities possible and deliver them the best quality chocolates, making them a Chocoholic.
