Wear Your Love for Hyderabad – Folktales.in

You can fall in love at first sight with a place as with a person. ~Alec Waugh

Falling in love with a place is as special as falling in love with a person. We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere. Be it the place we live, the place we tour, the place we have moved in or the one we have moved out of, there has always been an association between people and the places. And Hyderabad is a city that has a unique dialect, a fascinating culture, exquisite cuisine and humble citizenry.

Folktales, a Hyderabad based startup is one such company that has taken the love for this place and transformed into a retail store. This is a merchandise brand which puts up your memories of places onto the clothes you wear. They design their own clothes with prints of various things that are very much Hyderabad. They have targeted their merchandise for tourists as well as residents of the place.

Folktales.in was founded by Raviteja Govindaraju, an IIT madras graduate. Though he started his life as a designer in chennai, he always had a dream of having his own startup which serves peerless products to the tourists who visit Hyderabad. This was how folktales was established. The site sells t-shirts, mugs and other products which has the flavor of Hyderabad, as its central theme.

Folktales ship their products to all over India. Currently they are based in Hyderabad but have plans to expand into other cities.
