What is Generative AI?
Generative AI (GenAI) is a type of Artificial Intelligence that generates a wide range of data, including images, videos, audio, text, and 3D models. This is done by the AI by using existing data to learn and then applying it to generate new and distinct outputs. GenAI can create highly realistic and complex content that mimics human creativity. This makes it a valuable tool in various industries including gaming, entertainment, and product design.
Recently, the artificial intelligence space has been in a boom with multiple advancements such as GPT, Dall-E, and Midjourney. These advancements have opened up new possibilities for using GenAI to solve complex problems, create art, and even assist in scientific research.
Gamitronics – India Ka Apna Metaverse!
In late 2017, Rajat Ojha, and his partners Rajiv Chilaka (creator of Chhota Bheem) and Albert Lai, one of the most successful Canadian game-preneur, began Hyderabad-based Gamitronics. Launching PartyNite in 2021 also known as ‘India ka apna metaverse’; they are building a living city called ‘Utopia‘ which has e-commerce, education, entertainment, and brand placement. PartyNite primarily also focuses on hosting virtual events, having fun, and building communities.
Using the capabilities of GenAI, Hyderabad-based startup Gamitronics is aiming to build a new tool that can help people create virtual 3D worlds through single text prompts. Initially rolled out as an extension of their existing platform PartyNite, Gamitronics tool known as ‘Brahamand‘. This tool enables developers and businesses to enter their descriptions into a text box and generate 3D scenes or build 3D worlds as per their requirements.
This pivot for the company will launch them toward a platform-based model, rather than a service-based model. Currently, this tool is being used internally by a few agencies and will launch publicly in May 2023. The tool will be offered on a monthly or an annual license fee model. Enabling the consumers to approach the platform as ‘meta architects’ and bring their own creations to life; Gamitronics aims to create a seamless and immersive metaverse experience.
Standing out from the other players in the market, a homegrown AI engine powers Gamitronics; and India-centric content that includes the country’s traditional and cultural elements. Currently working with multiple brands, these brands have to pay the company platform fees, customization fees, and avatar creation fees. Moreover, to retain their virtual presence beyond a week, they need to pay land fees.
