NephroPlus to raise Rs 100 crore to support expansion
8 years ago Shalini BCity based kidney care chain, NephroPlus is the country’s largest dialysis center network with over 75 branches spread across the country and each one aims to be a one stop shop for all of dialysis needs.
NephroPlus, the brainchild of  Vikram Vuppala, Kamal Shah and Sandeep Gudibanda, began its operations back in 2010 and since then, there has been no looking back.  Just recently, they announced their plan to raise $10 Million in VC funding to boost their expansion plans. NephroPlus had raised Rs 60 crore in their previous rounds of funding from World Bank about two years ago and had raised  raised Rs 25 crore from Bessemer Venture Partners in 2012.
NephroPlus had recently entered into an agreement with the govt. of Andhra Pradesh to set up dialysis centres  in government hospitals of remote towns in the state. The kidney care center will be investing approximately Rs 15 crore on the 13 dialysis facilities that would be up and running in the next couple of months, according to the company.
