Website Launch at Hack4Good- Volunteer.Media

Volunteer. Media
The team of Volunteer.Media expressed gratitude for being a part of Hack4Good- an initiative against climate change! Through this medium, they successfully launched their website
www.volunteer.media

The idea behind the website was to develop a portal that acts as an online platform for:

  • Students who are interested in providing voluntary services
  • People who are looking at sponsoring various NGOs

Therefore, a one-stop destination that acts as a mediator between volunteers, organisations and sponsors.

The site holds a genuine database of various organisations/NGOs, across the city/state. Thos interested in volunteering can register themselves directly with any of the NGOs that are listed. Furthermore, companies and individuals looking to offer sponsorships to NGOs can check their credibility here, going through their portfolios and other options that are sorted categorically.

Also, provision of the location-based search tool makes it easier to navigate!

The Hack4Good was conduced at the Purple Talk office this year. Involvement of NGOS such as GoGreenIndia and EarthHour helped showcase their efforts better, while finding a relatedness with the very purpose of the event.
