Ashoka Youth Venture Fellowship for Changemakers9 months ago Saritha Keshamoni
With more than half of her population below the age of 25, India is set to become the world’s youngest country by 2020 and right now, across the world, there are 1.8 billion young people between the ages of 10 and 24 making it the largest youth population the world has ever see!
And today’s youth are not just studying, working and busy building a career, they are constantly striving to make the world a better place for all. To support these young changemakers in their endeavours, Ashoka India, the world’s largest network of leading social entrepreneurs, has launched a fellowship program , the Ashoka Youth Venture Program.
Ashoka India is inviting nominations for the next cohorts of Youth Venture – a fellowship programme where they identify, support and amplify teen-created, teen-led initiatives that addresses social and environmental problems. The selected Youth Venturers will have the opportunity to join an international network of leading social entrepreneurs and gain access to workshops, mentorship, funded exposure visits, media partnerships, and fundraising support to scale their venture. The fellowship works in tandem with school/college schedules.
