Elliot is a physician/scientist/engineer turned repeat founder and investor. At AWS, he’s responsible for relationships with early-stage life science companies and investors, partnering to speed their products to market.An NIH Fellow in the Medical Scientist Training Program, Elliot received his MD and PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania and holds MSE and BSEE degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Saiyed is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of C-CAMP and is actively involved in promoting innovation in life science/healthcare by supporting the translation of discoveries to the application, entrepreneurship, technology development and mentoring start-ups. Dr Saiyed’s initial training has been in neurosciences, where he received his PhD from Max-Planck Institute for Brain Research, Germany and followed it up by postdoctoral training at University of California San Francisco(UCSF).
