Yet, it gets increasingly difficult to take time out to look for people with the right set of skills for issues related to repair and service. Most of us would identify with the frustration that ensues when everything from plumbing, wiring, painting, getting appliances fixed pile up for the weekends only to stay unresolved owing to non-availability of workers in the area. Needless to mention that even if you find them, haggling for the best rates and sub par service often ruins the entire experience.

In an era of online services, Clik2Fix recognised an absence of such options in these areas and stepped in to address this widespread concern. Offering a wide range of services from simple repairs to extensive remodelling, this Hyderabad-based startup strives to become the one stop shop for every need pertaining to household issues. Your AC just stopped functioning owing to a short circuit? Help in the form of able electricians is just a click away. Need plumbers to fix the leaking pipes or clogged drainage? Get clicking. Looking to fix furniture, electrical appliances or giving your house a makeover with a fresh coat of paint? Click your worries away.

A part of GVK Priya solutions, Clik2Fix is the perfect example of how a nagging worry surrounding essential needs, gives birth to a startup. Co Founder KVS Prakash, just like a whole bunch of us, didn’t have much luck while trying to hunt down and negotiate with workers for maintenance jobs. Tiring of it eventually, he set out to devise an effective and accessible solution for all. Teaming up with GV Giribabu, who handles company budgets, resources and various other responsibilities, he launched Clik2Fix which would bring workers specialising in a variety of tasks under one portal for their user base to connect with and place orders from the comfort of home. For a mere one hundred rupees, which can be paid after the problem has been resolved, one can book their services and get free estimates. This essentially assures the customers of the best service without the headache of bargaining for deals.

Apart from repairs and renovation, Clik2Fix has you covered for your relocation needs and driving lessons as well. The complete list of services provided are as follows:

Electrical Problems: Burnt switches, Fans, Wiring.

Plumbing Lines: Kitchen, Bathrooms, Sewage.

Painting Problems: Interiors, Outdoors, Painters.

Furniture: Woodwork, Cabinetry, and Crown Molding, General Carpentry.

Masonry: Building constructions, Concrete, Waterproofing.

Electronic Appliances: AC/TV Repairs, Laptop/Desktop Repairs.

Services are limited to Hyderabad at the moment. However, the organisation is looking to scale up rapidly and make their presence felt in other cities too. In an attempt to work towards this, they recently secured incubation at Sunrise Startup Village, Vizag. All you need to do to place an order is head to their website, choose the area you reside in, select the type of service you want and you’re good to go. Alternately, you can also call them at the numbers mentioned in the site and provide your requirements. So put an end to wasted weekends over those futile searches and fix it with a click!
