Launched in 2018, GoliSoda, an ethnic, preservative-free & natural beverage startup is the brainchild of Ravi Teja Jallepalli. This Hyderabad-based startup, part of Mitaahaar Food Ideas, launched this brand to quench the thirst in the most ethnic manner, with their own modern twist.

Analyzing the consumers shift to healthier & hygienic products, this Hyderabad based beverage company tapped into the Rs. 22-000 crore soft-drinks category. With a soft-launch with Swiggy, GoliSoda piloted the most sought-after native thirst quenchers- Coconut water, Sugarcane juice, Badam milk, Rose milk, Fruit milk, Pulpy grape juice, Watermelon juice, Nannari sherbet, Paanakam, and Spiced buttermilk. Gaining traction from consumers due to its affordable prices & lack of preservatives, the company jumped to the top 5 F&B best seller chart in Hyderabad. Promoting their eco-friendliness, the company uses reusable glass bottles to package coconut water or sugarcane juice mixed with natural fruit juices, to capture the millennial market.

The self-funded company clocked Rs. 1 cr. in revenue in its first year, and foresees a 15x growth over the years. With 10 outlets in Hyderabad, the company aims to venture into the Bengaluru & Chennai markets through the launch of cloud stores.

Strengthening their partnership with Swiggy, the brand has also partnered with Zomato and Dunzo to expand its distribution network. Having grown their demand at 32% over the last three years, the ethnic drink company has forayed into the dessert segment.

Launching 8 new home-based delicious desserts, which are prepared with milk and indigenous bases such as rice, semiya (vermicelli), coconut and rice dumplings. Introducing popular traditional desserts such as payasam/kheer, ariselu, aamras, kaddu kheer to name a few, GoliSoda has set the base for healthy, nutritious delicacies, prepared using jaggery instead of sugar. With a Rs. 5 Cr. revenue in 2019, the company aims towards a 2.5x growth in the coming years and expand its brand through the franchisee model.
