IBM is back with a bang with its second edition of a B2B startup competition. This year promises more than last year. There is a lot to add to your experience – including Awards, Certifications from IBM, personal product showcases to CIOs and IBM Executives, up-close interactions with Venture Capitalists and Government executives, mentoring services, extensive press coverage and grand prizes!
“In last year`s challenge we picked 30 B2B Startups pan India and they had an opportunity to pitch before VCs, IBM Execs get their valuable feedbacks. We also showcased the winner`s application to IBM Sales to explore synergies. “Says the proud team of SmartCamp India.
The winners got lot of Press coverage as well. The 2014 closing ceremony happened in front of an audience of 250+ entrepreneurs, and select VCs. Last year winners got benefited by getting customer leads, funding, recognition, establishing of synergies with IBM`s different group.
This year IBM plans to do SmartCamp across various cities. Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam are two of them.
It is a known fact that B2B firms have not seen as much success as B2C entrepreneurs have got. That is why IBM chooses to recognize this part of entrepreneurship and give these potential firms a chance to portray their skills and proficiencies in front of VC and incubators. If not funding, as participants you will at least get a chance to meet like-minded people.
The winners will be getting the following benefits –
• Award certificates
• An opportunity to present before eminent people in the Startup space to get suggestions and feedbacks from them.
• Coverage in Online magazines.
• A chance to be considered for the Regional Finals.
