SLP Hyderabad 5K to support Girl Education

SLP 5K run

Education is a boon to girls in this age of economic crisis. Gone are the days of plenty and prosperity. Now-a-days it is difficult for the people of the middle class to make both ends meet. After marriage, educated girls can add to the income of their husbands. If a woman is educated, she can earn a living after the death of her husband.

Girls’ education is necessary for making the homes a happy place. A man’s life blossom he is blessed with well-educated women as wife and mother. Educated girls can brighten the future of their country by the good upbringing of their children. Education gives a woman freedom of thought. It broadens her outlook and makes her aware of her duties and responsibilities.

With the same prime motto, Startup Leadership Program (SLP – Hyderabad) is hosting a 5k Annual Start-up run to support the benevolent cause of Girl Education. They want to create awareness and help raise funds for the girl education and welfare of women in India.

It is not just a run but a step forward in a movement which is going to create affinities in what we want to achieve. We want aspiring entrepreneurs, exceptional founders, talented innovators and ambitious students in India to come together and run for a great cause and towards a more progressive India.

This run will not only generate education but create limitless possibilities for numerous collaborations amongst people who share the same belief, who want to start something new and create an impact which is indefinable.

The previous year SLP, Hyderabad helped 96 girls to get educated and this year we aim for 200. And it is not difficult with you by our side.

This year, we have partnered with two NGOs - Sankalp and Pratyusha Support.
About Pratyusha Support

Conceptualized by leading South Indian actress – Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Pratyusha Support has started its services in February 2014. Since then, they have been serving the underprivileged by delivering some unparalleled medical support to women and children, while fulfilling wishes of those children suffering from life-threatening medical conditions. They have been closely working with their partnered hospitals, Rainbow, Continental, Livlife, Ankura and Andhra Hospitals in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states primarily.
