TiE Global Summit 2022 is to be held in Hyderabad from 12th – 14th December, ’22

The 7th edition of TiE Global Summit 2022 is set to be held in Hyderabad, India from 12-14th December ’22. It will be hosted at HICC-Novotel, Hyderabad. Previously held in Dubai, UAE, the largest entrepreneurship summit will be organized by TiE, Hyderabad this year.

Found in 1992, TiE aims to foster entrepreneurship in individuals through mentoring, networking, education, funding, and incubation. TiE Global Summit is the flagship event of TiE Global where all TiE Chapters collaborate and bring world-class content. This year’s theme is 3.2.1 (Technology 3.0, Entrepreneurship 2.0, Sustainability 1.0).

The agenda of the event includes speaker sessions, mentoring sessions, marquee keynotes, fireside chats, and thought-provoking discussions on entrepreneurship. The event encompasses several events including TiE Woman Global Conclave, TGS100, TiE University Global Pitch, and Exhibition.

TiE Woman Global Conclave

This unique opportunity will allow 40 women entrepreneurs from 13 countries to pitch and compete for $100K equity-free cash prizes.

TGS100

How Do You Participate?

1. Register on the portal with the details of your startup, a pitch deck, and an elevator pitch video of 60-90 seconds.
2. Select your domain and category from the listed domains in the application.
3. The submitted applications will first be evaluated by industry experts and entrepreneurs and shortlisted. Upon shortlisting, they will have to pitch before an eminent panel of the jury for the final selection of TGS100.
4. For an Early-Stage startup, Your company must be bootstrapped/FnF and incorporated for at least 1 year with at least 2 POC customers with MVP.
5. For a Growth-Stage startup, Your company must be revenue positive or have funding with at least 2 paying customers.
6. There is NO application fee to participate in TGS100.

TiE University Global Pitch

Under this initiative, TiE Global Chapters nominate student-led startups from National and International universities. Further, these teams compete for the grand prize. Winners will be nominated for the TiE University Global Pitch Fest 2023, and if eligible, nominate them to RICE Business Plan Competition.

TiE Global Summit Exhibition

The TiE Global Summit 2022 shall have an opportunity for startups to showcase their innovative products, services, solutions, and technologies. This will allow them widespread exposure and also networking opportunities. Exhibitors include startups, institutions, incubators, SMEs, Governments, Banks, NBFCs, and State Departments, among others.

The 3-day event will have a mix of panel discussions and fireside chats about pressing industry topics such as digitalization; SMEs empowerment; Sustainability & Social Enterprise, and disrupting technologies in distribution. Additionally, the theme of the event will be kept in mind, and topics such as Deep-Tech; Fintech; ESG; Funding; Mobility; Agriculture; Cloud Technologies; Climate tech; CSR; 5G, and Women in Entrepreneurship. Moreover, during the course of the summit, there will be fireside chats about engaging topics about immersive tech, space tech, digitization, and building sustainable unicorns.
