Tohands – Hisab Made Easy

In India, Small Businesses largely depend on a physical calculator for their daily business transactions. Yet, ever since its invention, it hasn’t been updated to adjust to the growing needs of small businesses. These businesses prefer using the traditional physical calculator because it’s simple and easy to operate. However, this needed some updation.

Tohands recognized this need and has revolutionized the way small businesses use calculators. Tohands, a Hyderabad-based startup, incubated and supported by Startup India Seed fund and T-Hub. After several versions, the Smart Calculator was born. By adding just two buttons, Cash In – to record sales and Cash Out – to record expenses, Tohands has reinvented the calculator to cater to small business needs.

The shopkeepers can track and record all the transactions made throughout the day on the calculator’s memory card. This can then be synced to the Tohan mobile app using WiFi or Bluetooth. At the end of the day, the users can open the app and look at their expenses and income. Additionally, the app also allows shopkeepers to get daily, weekly, and monthly reports and analytics. Moreover, the calculator comes with an alphanumeric keyboard, with a battery backup of three days. With internal memory, the smart calculator can record up to five lakh transactions and save the details.

Tohands smart calculator makes in-store transactions hassle-free. Retailing at Rs. 2999, the calculator can be preordered through their website with a 30-days return and a 1-year warranty.
