The founders and the birth of Tourity

The people behind Tourity are 4 passionate mates who believe in the same vision. While Anoop Munshi is the founder and CEO, the other 3 are tech founders who are working part time on the startup. Each one of them is working on the technology of mobile, web and UX respectively.

The startup popped up as an idea in Anoop’s mind when he found himself struggling to find quality information about which places to visit, how to plan best route and further getting information about authentic local cultural experiences when he was planning his trip to Konark. Even though after lot of struggle when he found the information, it was all in a mess. It all added up to the work when Anoop had to structure down the information.

This is when he saw a serious pain-point and market opportunity in this field and felt there was a serious gap in the market where there was no other player who was providing custom-made holiday plans for travellers. The realisation of this gap led Anoop and his team to build Tourity.

How does the service work?

• For Travel guides: Travelers can simply input the destination they are planning for and the team provides them with results and choices which are available to download for offline use as well.
• For Tour packages: Travelers can immediately book for the destination they are looking for and they will be provided with a host, transportation and accommodation for their travel dates

Currently the firm is boot strapped. They also plan to expand rapidly into 100 popular holiday cities around the world and launch the phase 2 of their product soon; a roadmap providing dynamic tour packaging in real-time in the next two years.
