TruePush is launching Segments & Triggers features on ProductHunt on Monday(13th May 2019). Given that it is a free product with wonderful design, it provided great value for its users. TruePush was trending on #3 on Product Hunt on the day it got published (Jan 9th, 2019).  In less than 100 days, they acquired 1200 + clients who are now sending 100Mn + notifications every month. Segments:

You have both Pre-defined Segments and custom segments. With pre-defined segments, the system already divides users based on their OS, country, day of week visited, etc.  While with Custom Segments, you can add your own user tags to categorize them into different segments.

Triggers:

You have three different options to use triggers based on timing and behavior (segments):

1. Once: When a trigger is activated, the notification is sent only once
2. Repeated: This option lets you send notifications periodically (viz. Daily, weekly, Monthly & Yearly)
3. Multiple dates: You can add any number of dates(particular) and the notifications will be sent as per your choosing.
